Hashtag landing page launches on YouTube

Twitter and Instagram have made the hashtag the most popular. So nowadays hashtags are one of the most permanent ways to navigate a topic on different platforms. But YouTube has never made it so important. Eventually, they also realized!

This week Google launched a landing page for sorting videos using metadata tags. By clicking on any hashtag, the videos of that hashtag can be easily viewed through this feature.

The hashtag button will usually appear below the video description, but some video creators will also be able to show it above. The feature can also be used by typing the URL directly (www.youtube.com/hashtag/yourterm). It may also be possible to search for pages using this feature. However, a spokesman for YouTube said that it may come in the coming days.

New and popular videos can be easily found through hashtags. Currently, YouTube is showing the highlighted videos on the hashtag page.
