This time Apple is bringing Touch ID to iMac

 


Apple's new ultra-colorful iMac will have a wireless Touch ID feature. This Touch ID allows users to log in to iMac, change profiles, and make purchases on the Apple Pay service. News Engadget.

The feature will remain built-in to the scheduled version of the Magic Keyboard to be sold with the new iMac. This Touch ID will be circular in the top row of the keyboard, which will be able to detect fingerprints.

Earlier, the iPhone and iPad had Touch ID feature, but this is the first time the feature is on the company's desktop line.

According to Apple, a secure encryption, encrypted channels and dedicated security components have been used to protect users' fingerprint data. Users can make payments easily, quickly and securely.

Apple will start taking orders for the new iMac from April 30, and delivery will begin in mid-May. Magic keyboard of two versions will be available simultaneously.
