BlackBerry left the smartphone market in 2016. BlackBerry could not take advantage of the new Android phone with TCL. Basically, the company could not stand the popularity of Android and iOS. However, the BlackBerry smartphone is going to return to the smartphone market by the end of this year.
Texas-based SmartUp OnwardMobility, the new owner of the BlackBerry brand, has confirmed the launch of the new BlackBerry device by the end of this year.
BlackBerry's partnership with TCL ended last year.
BlackBerry then struck a deal with Onward Mobility. It was announced last year that BlackBerry would return to Europe and North America under a licensing partnership.
This new phone will be a FiveG smartphone. The new phone is working with the main focus on safety. There will be a physical keyboard. And Onwardmobility is working with Foxconn to make this smartphone.
