Black holes many times larger than imagined

The time has come for astronauts to change the scope of their expectations about black holes. According to the New York Times, a team of international researchers has come to the conclusion that the size of one of the first black hole inventions, Seasonus X-1, is actually much larger than it is thought.

The binary system-based black hole was previously thought to have only 15 solar masses, but is now believed to be 21 solar masses.

While this may not seem very important compared to the supermassive black holes of millions or even billions of solar masses, it is time to change our perception of black holes.

The research team also found that the size of a black hole measured by X-rays was much larger than that found by the laser interferometer Gravitational-Web Observatory (LIGO).

The six-wheeled Mars rover will orbit Mars for at least two years. There will be excavation of stones and collection of samples and information.

Shortly after landing, Perseverance sent several black and white images from the surface of Mars. In one of them, the shadow of the rover can be seen on the rocky surface of Mars. NASA has released a photo taken by Perseverance.

Facebook stopped showing news in Australia

Facebook has blocked access to news content in Australia. The Facebook pages of the country's media are not visible even from outside Australia.

Facebook authorities have stopped showing news on Facebook's newsfeed in Australia since Thursday due to a dispute with the government over a law that would allow profits to be shared with the media.

The Australian government has said the move would jeopardize Facebook's legitimacy.

The BBC's dramatic move has raised concerns among Australians about access to vital information, the BBC reported.

Residents of Australia woke up on Thursday morning to find there was no news content on their news feed, Reuters reported. They can't even see the Facebook page of any local or international media.

Along with the news media page, Facebook also blocked the pages of various departments including health and energy of the Australian government in the morning. However, they later claimed that the official page was closed "by mistake".

NASA's Mars rover Perseverance has successfully landed on Mars

NASA's Mars rover 'Perseverance' has successfully landed on Mars after overcoming '7 minutes of panic'. That signal has already reached the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Los Angeles.

Initially, NASA scientists thought there was no damage to Perseverance and would soon launch an "expedition" to Mars.

Perseverance entered the atmosphere of Mars this week after a journey of about seven months. Mars is able to touch the ground about 2040 million kilometers away from the earth.

Earlier, JPL's landing scientist Al Chen described the last 7 minutes of landing as the most risky and frightening. "Perseverance includes an six-wheeled search vehicle," he said. The vehicle has all the technical equipment needed to take pictures of the surface of Mars, analyze the nature of the soil, and send those pictures and information. The vehicle has been sent in a 'capsule' with the spacecraft to avoid any damage during the high-speed collision on the ground. After reaching the atmosphere of Mars. In the last 7 minutes, the vehicle-along with the capsule will crash and slowly stop at one place. This is the scariest and most complicated time.

However, the scientists said that they have been able to cope with the shock. After their expectation, the capsule will be opened and the 6-wheeler will come out from inside and start its search. Now NASA scientists are waiting for him.

Xiaomi on the US blacklist

After Huawei, the Trump administration has turned its attention to Xiaomi, another top Chinese smartphone maker. On Thursday, the Trump administration blacklisted nine companies, including Xiaomi, for consideration related to China's military.

Xiaomi is currently the third-largest smartphone maker in the world. As a result of the special blacklisting in the United States, no investor in the country will be able to invest in the Chinese company. Even if one has an investment in the nine listed companies, it has to be withdrawn by November 11 this year.

Surprisingly, so far the Trump administration has not presented any evidence that Xiaomi or any other company is involved with the Chinese military. This new list has been published secretly all of a sudden.

Earlier, the administration blacklisted more than 60 companies in the telecommunications and semiconductor sectors, including Huawei and SMIC. That list includes DJI, the world's largest drone manufacturer.

However, companies can import technology from the United States without a license. However, many are hoping that the Biden administration's orders will be revoked on January 20. Still just looking at what is in the foreheads of companies!

'Ice Robot' is coming

A few days ago we learned about making drones with pineapple leaves. And this time it was known about the robot made of ice.

This 'ice robot' was created by a team of researchers from the University of Pennsylvania's Grap Lab. This robot capable of reconstructing itself will be sent to space missions.

Details of the robot were unveiled at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS). It is reported that since ice will be found in all galaxies, these ice robots will be able to repair themselves. Automatic configuration feature has been added to the robot. Replica robots can also be made easily.

The ice robot weighs only 7.3 kilograms. Can move comfortably if not melted at room temperature.

Researchers are very optimistic about this ice robot. Devin Carroll, a member of the research team, told IEEE Spectrum that he and his co-inventor Mark Yim invented the ice robot with the intention of building a robotic system operated from remotely available material in remote or hostile environments.
