Facebook bans anti-vax ads

The social media company Facebook has announced to ban advertisements that discourage people about vaccines.

The company said in a blog post on Tuesday that it would also launch a campaign to provide information on a vaccine for the new disease.

The US-based technology company said in a statement that it would not allow advertisements that came in opposition to the government's vaccine policy.

"Our goal is to play a positive role in the process of getting the vaccine out to a large population," the company said in a statement.

Facebook's new announcement says opposition posts will be allowed if there is no misinformation.

So far, China and the United States are leading the race for the corona vaccine, along with Russia. Russia has begun using the vaccine nationally with approval.
