Google's Assistant Driving Mode may finally be arriving soon

Google introduced the 'Driving Mode' feature at the Developer Conference (IO) last year. However, the feature is going to see the light even if it is late.

According to XDA-Developers, Google Assistant's Driving Mode is partially offered to Android users. However, its interface will be slightly different than before. The feature is also seen on devices like Google Pixel 4, LG Velvet and Asus Zenfone 6 Pro with XDA.

Although it is not yet clear whether Google Drive mode is being tested or will be launched for all devices soon.

However, it seems that the feature is going to be replaced for the Android Auto app on the smartphone.

That being said, the driving mode will help users get direct access to the voice-forward dashboard. And the feature is not associated with any specific version of Google Maps or search app. It will work on different devices. However, it may depend on the user's account.

Google has not yet confirmed the launch of the feature. A Google spokesperson told The Verge that they are constantly experimenting with ways to make the feature more helpful.
